Description

If numbers are your forte, this is where you’ll thrive! As a finance professional, you know this is the department that really makes a difference.

Responsibilities

Rituals is growing fast. We are steadily expanding in new territories, opening new stores and growing our online presence. Globally we’re opening over 200 new stores per year (EU, Middle East and Asia). As part of this growth, we are looking for a Global Tax Manager with a focus on Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring global tax compliance and supporting the business in a dynamic, international environment.
Good to know: the Global Tax function (4 FTEs) is based at our Amsterdam HQ and is responsible for tax advisory and compliance in all countries where Rituals operates. The tax department is part of the finance team, which also includes financial control, internal control, finance operations and payroll. You will spend most of your time at our Amsterdam Central Head Office with a view of one of the most iconic canals.
In this role, you will apply your expertise to strengthen and streamline our global direct tax processes. One of the appealing aspects of this role is the ability to make a significant impact. You’ll work closely with your team and collaborate with colleagues across the business and finance functions to ensure compliance, manage risk and support strategic initiatives. You will also play a key role in managing audits, maintaining documentation and driving improvements in tax governance and reporting. By working closely with the business, you will partner with them to support and guide their decision-making process from a tax perspective.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating global CIT and WHT compliance processes, including deadlines, documentation, and reporting
  • Managing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local Files, intercompany agreements)
  • Monitoring international tax developments (e.g., Pillar II, ATAD, BEPS) and assessing their impact
  • Advising internal stakeholders on tax implications of business initiatives
  • Supporting external tax audits and ruling requests
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in tax compliance and governance
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and strengthening tax awareness across the organization
