As part of our ambitious growth in ABB Motion, we are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and visionary eCommerce Lead to drive our global Motion’s digital B2B e-commerce strategy and lead a talented team of professionals. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our digital ecosystem and make a lasting impact on our business.
As the eCommerce Lead, you will lead our global eCommerce strategic initiative and be responsible for defining and executing our eCommerce vision. You will lead a cross-functional team, including a Program Manager, Implementation Leads, and a Product Owner.
You will work closely with the Product Owner to move beyond feature delivery and toward a customer-centric, scalable platform strategy.
You will ensure tight integration between development and product teams, implement KPI-driven governance, and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver a world-class digital end-to-end e-commerce experience.
You will collaborate with other divisions to support the effective adoption of the platform moving forward.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven background in eCommerce, preferably in B2B environments.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital platform management, global eCommerce, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated success as a people leader, with experience managing distributed team(s), senior professionals and managers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across product, development, and business functions.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data to track performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong grasp of platform strategy, product lifecycle, and customer experience design.
  • Track record of data-driven decision-making, KPI management, and budget oversight.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with prior exposure to large complex organizations and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the global Motion eCommerce vision and strategy, focusing on future growth and innovation.
  • Manage and develop a team of 10+ digital senior professionals globally, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the platform’s global rollout, ensuring alignment and strong collaboration with division strategy and the divisions supporting the eCommerce global initiative.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and technical team to create a customer-first roadmap that balances local business needs with scalable architecture.
  • Oversee collaboration between the Product Owner and Development Team, ensuring clarity in requirements, sprint targets, and velocity.
  • Act as the escalation point for blockers in rollout, testing, and adoption.
  • Oversee internal communications to ensure platform features and updates are clearly communicated to the right stakeholders at the right time.
  • Work with Motion Information System (IS) function to assess evolving needs and make strategic budget decisions as the platform scales in scope and complexity while staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our digital ecosystem remains competitive and customer centric.
