DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

The Senior Strategy Manager will work within Lenovo’s Global eCommerce Strategy Organization, reporting to the Chief of Staff for the VP/GM of Global eCommerce and Lenovo.com. You will help shape Lenovo’s digital growth by translating insight into high-impact strategic initiatives. This role combines classic strategy skills (market insight, modeling, executive comms) with a pragmatic ability to influence cross-functional teams and embed strategic frameworks that enable execution. Ideal candidates will bring top-tier consulting rigor and proven in-house experience navigating real-world implementation in a heavily matrixed, global environment. You will guide initiatives from insight through early-stage design and help the organization stand up business management systems and strategic processes that scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate emerging trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics into high-impact actionable growth strategies for Lenovo Global eCommerce.
  • Build robust business cases, market and competitive analyses, and executive-ready narratives that drive senior decision-making.
  • Support the design and launch of foundational systems and processes (KPIs, BMS, governance) in partnership with operational owners.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief of Staff, supporting the VP/GM of Global eCommerce with structured insight and scalable recommendations.
  • Facilitate alignment across global and regional stakeholders; drive progress without direct authority.
  • Develop strategy materials, investment frameworks, and CEO-level presentations.
  • Lead the annual Global eCommerce strategy and investment planning process.
  • Maintain a customer-centric and business-grounded lens, ensuring strategies drive accelerated and ambitious growth and execution.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA Required; MBA or advanced business education preferred.
  • 12+ years experience, including 4 – 6 years at a top-tier consulting firm and success in an in-house strategy or operational leadership role.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution enablement in fast-paced, global organizations (eCommerce or tech a strong plus).
  • Strong financial acumen, including business case development, P&L modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
  • Operates with curiosity and a collaborative, get-it-done mentality.
