Job Description Summary Design, implement and execute global Project EHS programs that align with Wind EHS strategic priorities, preventing accidents, reducing incidents, and ensuring consistent safety practices across Regions. Drive sustainable solutions for long term EHS performance. Job Description Strategic EHS Program Implementation Develop, prioritize and execute global Project EHS initiatives aligned with Wind EHS strategies to reduce Incident & Injury Rate across wind project sites. Elimination of Level A & B events. Ensure consistent safety practices across all projects and regions. Leadership Engagement & Collaboration Drive with senior project leaders, providing performance updates, driving leadership engagement strategies, and mentoring project teams to foster a strong safety culture. Identify and track performance reviews with senior leaders to track EHS metrics and compliance. Operational Integration & Compliance Achieve full implementation of Life Saving Rules across all global wind projects. Ensure 100% compliance with regional EHS regulations through standardized processes. Risk Management & Incident Response Lead proactive risk assessments and incident investigations, contributing to 100% closure rate on corrective actions from Level A/B and PSE investigations within allotted timeline to drive continuous improvement. Contractor & Stakeholder Alignment Engage with contractor leadership to improve safety performance and drive accountability for EHS performance (field assurance, etc.). Ensure 100% of contractors are approved and performance is measured and acted upon. Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and investigations of Level A, B, and PSE incidents. Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating EHS risks, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or EHS related field. Advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience, more than 10 years, in EHS management or executing EHS programs in the renewable energy sector. Proven track record in leading EHS initiatives in a multinational, multicultural environment. Projects and/or Field experience desired. Strong understanding of global EHS regulations and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence and drive change at all organizational levels. The salary range for this position is $188,000 to $282,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location.
