This Position reports to: Global Ops Manager Business Line Excitat Business leader responsible for BL Power Reliability Global Feeder Factory with full accountability of key activities and overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational performance, in an extended value chain approach, defining most effective set-up (cost, speed, quality) to supply internally core components, products, spare parts world-wide. Main Accountabilities: • Responsible for shaping and delivering a focused Global Feeder Factory evolution in line with the BL Power Reliability business strategy and market demand • Contribute to a sustainable end-to-end value chain, from Customer to Supplier and from Order to Delivery including continuous improvement of business processes related to Global Feeder Factory • Responsible for ensuring seamless, lean and effective collaboration with key cross-functions including R&D, Product Management, Sales, SCM, Service and Supportline. Performance Management • Owner and accountable to deliver Feeder Factory KPIs (operations and financials) • Accountable to define and deliver the annual budgets for Feeder Factory CapEx (if any) and OpEx • Accountable for setting the respective Procurement and Logistics needs from order to post-sales in close collaboration with P&L function • Accountable for the effective deployment of ABB’s Quality principles regarding the implementation of the BL integrated quality management system for the area under responsibility • Responsible to define clear and streamlined processes, governance and communication flow, including factory pricing set-up and evolution Safety & Integrity • Responsible to implement and sponsor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations across his organization • Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance. People Leadership & Development • Accountable that all Feeder Factory functions are properly organized, staffed and directed, developing an focused, diverse and high-performing organization • Responsible to identify talent, performing competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrades • Responsible to champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the organization. Standards, Governance and Risk Management • Accountable to ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies and procedures related to Global Feeder Factory • Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of execution Qualifications For The Role A university degree (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.) with specialty in supply chain management, operations More than 8 years of experience in multinational companies’ operations management in the engineering / automation / electrical industries Deep knowledge and practical experience of ERP systems (preferably SAP), Lean 6 sigma quality program, operational excellence tools, processes and best practices Experience in operational planning and execution possibly with profit and loss responsibility Strong intercultural and collaboration skills across functions of multinational organization Good knowledge of excitation products and system Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Analytical mind to evaluate information and take appropriate actions Experienced to work in a global organization with matrix structure A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with proficient communication skills We value people from different backgrounds. Responsibilities
