ABOUT THE ROLE At Basis Technologies, we don't just show up at events — we build programmes that move deals forward. As our Global Field Marketing Manager, you'll own the events and ecosystem engine that converts executive engagement into high-intent pipeline. This is a role for someone who thrives on building. You'll design and execute event strategies across SAP ecosystem conferences, industry sponsorships, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional field programmes — and you'll be relentless about ensuring every activity maps directly to pipeline creation and deal acceleration. You'll work closely with Sales leadership, BDR teams, and the broader Demand Generation function, sitting at the heart of how we bring our Intelligent Change Management (ICM) narrative to life inside the SAP ecosystem. WHAT YOU'LL DO EVENT STRATEGY & PIPELINE GENERATION Own the global event marketing strategy across SAP ecosystem conferences, industry events, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional SAP user group events Ensure all events deliver measurable pipeline and opportunity acceleration — not just brand presence Partner with Sales leadership to align event strategy directly to target accounts and open opportunities END-TO-END EVENT EXECUTION Lead full event lifecycle: strategy, planning, logistics, vendor coordination, team enablement, on-site activation, and post-event follow-up and reporting Execute events as integrated marketing programmes that reinforce our Intelligent Change Management narrative — never as standalone activities Drive attendee engagement programmes that create real executive conversations and BDR pipeline opportunities PIPELINE ALIGNMENT & OPPORTUNITY ACCELERATION Collaborate with the Global Demand Generation Manager and BDR teams to identify and prioritise target accounts for each event Coordinate executive meetings and networking opportunities that support opportunity progression Track and report event-generated SQAs, opportunities, and pipeline impact through Salesforce PERFORMANCE & MARKET INTELLIGENCE Analyse event performance across SQA generation, opportunity creation, pipeline ROI, and engagement quality Apply a test-and-learn mindset — bring data, iterate, and continuously improve the programme Act as a steward of the ICM narrative within the SAP ecosystem; stay ahead of event trends and competitor positioning WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE 4+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology A track record of executing events that generate measurable pipeline and executive engagement — you can prove it with data Experience partnering closely with Sales teams on account-based marketing and opportunity development Proven ability to manage global conferences and complex, multi-stakeholder event programmes Comfortable in fast-moving scale-up environments where priorities shift and autonomy is expected TECHNICAL SKILLS Strong event management and vendor coordination capability Proficiency with Salesforce and Pardot (or equivalent marketing automation) Data-driven approach to measuring and reporting on marketing performance PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging across global teams, Sales leadership, and C-suite Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously Collaborative by nature; thrives in a cross-functional team environment Growth mindset — you experiment, learn fast, and iterate without being asked ABOUT BASIS TECHNOLOGIES We enable every SAP-run business to manage change intelligently — no matter how complex their technology landscape.
