KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to influence and collaborate across global teams.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and various financial systems (Anaplan, Power BI preferred).
  • Able to manage and analyse complex data and deliver insights to decision makers.
  • High commercial acumen and proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Minimum of 5 years’ of hands-on experience in a business partnering role working with various stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting; CPA/CA certified
  • Experience in business travel or related industries is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Global Finance Business Partner will be embedded within the FP&A team acting as the key finance partner supporting global and regional leaders. This partnering role will support the delivery of strategic global initiatives such as a globally coordinated capital expenditure process, implementation and management of a structured global expense recharge process, supporting financial planning (budgets and reforecasting) processes, and other key initiatives across CTM.
This role will report directly to the Global Head of FP&A and play a critical part in ensuring strategic finance initiatives are delivered, enabling financial insights, strategic planning and performance reporting. The role will have one direct report – the Group FP&A Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Lead and deliver on Global Finance Initiatives
  • Assist to scope, plan and deliver on business initiatives (e.g. CAPEX approval and project tracking for Global projects, global expense recharge process).
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional teams to ensure alignment on financial initiatives and reporting standards
  • Ensure efficient implementation, and reporting of outcomes.
  • Support the Strategic planning process
  • Working closely with stakeholders to deliver on CTM’s global strategic planning initiatives in a timely manner including the recurring annual budget and quarterly reforecasting processes.
  • Attention to detail is key to ensuring that strategic planning initiatives are delivered appropriately.
  • Having a growth mindset, always looking at ways to improve planning initiatives with each future iteration.
  • Provide insights supporting strategic decision making
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support decision-making processes and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Leveraging off technology enabling data driven decision making using tools such as PowerBI for reporting and Anaplan for financial modelling.
  • Monitoring emerging technologies like AI to enable deliver new financial insights.
