Description

We are seeking Global Funds Manager - Part Time (16 hours) to join our Melbourne team.
This role will have you strategically manage Movember’s cash and investments to maximise financial returns within Movember’s risk appetite, working closely with our financial institutions and partners.
You will lead the Treasury function by providing expert guidance on cash flow forecasting, investment strategy, and liquidity management to support organisational goals. Implement best practices for treasury management while ensuring full compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Specifically, you will;

  • Provide recommendations and execution on appropriate investment returns while maintaining focus on compliance with the Movember’s Treasury and Investment Policy.
  • Execute global investment decisions in accordance with Movember’s Treasury and Investment Policy.
  • Work closely with financial advisers and asset managers when appropriate.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities.
  • Manage cash flows to meet Movember’s operational needs.
  • Incorporate Movember’s values into investment decisions in accordance with Treasury and Investment Policy.
  • Prepare regular treasury, investment and FX analysis for management, Board and Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.
  • Manage Movember’s banking and finance relationships including review of performance and negotiation of commercial arrangements.
  • Work with operations team to manage administration of accounts for offline (signatories) and online banking access.
  • Provide leadership, advice and support to various parts of the business with relation to banking arrangements, payment gateways, donation acceptance, refund analysis and execution, ensuring 3rd party donation platforms are appropriate and connected correctly, etc.
  • Provide leadership, advice and support to the global finance team to ensure smooth banking operations.
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer from time to time with ad hoc Finance projects.
Responsibilities
  • CFA/FINSIA/CPA qualification with demonstrated commercial leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in cash and investment management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of foreign exchange risks.
  • Advanced analytical and spreadsheet modelling skills.
  • Up to date technical knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work with a global team across multiple time zones.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience working in international/multi-currency environments.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analysis capabilities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
  • Have a positive, can-do approach to finding and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Track record of driving process improvement and automation.
