Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about finance, procurement, and making an impact on a global scale? At Maersk, we’re looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our Global Procurement team. In this critical role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving financial transparency and helping shape strategic decisions across our Ocean and Logistics & Services (L&S) businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Global Procurement leadership, delivering insights that enable data-driven decisions.
  • Drive a cost improvement mindset by establishing a performance management framework that tracks procurement’s P&L savings across product verticals.
  • Serve as a key liaison between product, operations, and regional teams to align procurement initiatives with financial outcomes.
  • Lead the annual business planning and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accurate procurement input and performance reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities using data-driven spend analysis and collaborate with SRM teams to optimize supplier relationships.
  • Enhance data quality and availability in partnership with Finance, Business Intelligence, and Platform teams to support strategic procurement decisions.
  • Support and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, vendor governance, and authority frameworks to balance risk and agility.
  • Contribute to SG&A planning and performance management alongside Asset Strategy leadership.
  • Build and lead a team of high-performing, engaged finance professionals.
