POSITION SUMMARY:

The Global Head of Financial Services Compensation Solutions will spearhead the global commercial strategy, driving growth and ensuring client satisfaction for WTW’s Global Banking and Financial Services (GFS) Study product. They will lead a global team to enhance business development efforts, optimize client relationships, and align organizational goals with market demands.
As the Global Head of Financial Services Compensation Solutions, you will exemplify client focus by proactively engaging with prospects, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored compensation data solutions that ensure their satisfaction and build the start of long-term relationships. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Proven experience in leading commercial or business development functions within a global banking and financial services context.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team across geographies.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively, adapting to changing market conditions.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the banking and financial services industry, including market trends to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
    This position is ideal for a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving product business growth in the global banking and financial services sector.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for GFS globally, focusing on market penetration and competitive positioning.
  • Client Acquisition and Management: Lead new client acquisition efforts to ensure robust study participation and high client satisfaction. Oversee existing client renewals and account management with a focus on client retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of customized solutions and services that meet client needs. Driving product integrated sales and sharing best practices for sales and marketing is a critical element of the role.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Foster a sales culture within the team, coaching and mentoring team members to become successful business developers. Encourage continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure the achievement of financial targets, including revenue growth and profitability. Analyse financial performance and market data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to enhance the company’s reputation and business opportunities.
  • Thought Leader: The individual will be a thought leader in the practice area, and represent Willis Towers Watson externally (podiums and writing articles), as well as engage in larger or more complex sales opportunities
