BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Expert (15+ years) experience within global Payroll environment
Proven experience in a senior payroll leadership role, with a focus on digital transformation
Deep knowledge and experience working with payroll vendors & platform technologies; includes Workday Payroll experience or deep module knowledge
Experience setting up payroll requirements for new tax entities and end-to-end M&A initiatives
Experience in and understanding of mobility programs and practices

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

Paying our people is a critical component to our experience framework and is a fundamental moment that matters. This role will serve as an advisor and subject matter expert for all areas related to global payroll. You will have the ability to positively impact how our people feel valued and rewarded. You will be responsible for payroll strategy, delivery and operations at a global scale, covering over 37,000 employees and spanning over 44 countries. Your remit will involve partnering and collaborating across senior leadership in People, Finance, Technology, and divisional business lines. You will be a key decision maker
Provides strategic planning, tactical direction and day to day management alongside governance of global payroll function.
Accountable for leading international payroll strategy to harmonize payroll vendors across 40+ countries.
Responsible for compliance, reporting and fiduciary oversight of approximately: 1M transactions, $1B USD in salary wages and $200M+ USD in bonus payments per annum.
Manages vendor relationship and retained organization to ensure delivery of end-to-end payroll solutions in a cost-effective manner
Maintains standard operating and regulatory procedures globally with respect to audit, privacy, tax reporting, and controls.
Leadership of an international payroll team, directs and manages global payroll operations, outsourcing governance, service delivery and issue resolution.
Ensures compliance and fiduciary oversight of the company’s payroll function across all regions. Ensures accurate yearend processes for earnings and tax statements globally.
Represents Global Payroll on corporate committees and M&A teams and manages and controls global budget.
Responsible for forecasting and monitoring fringe benefits expense for US employees (~$215M USD), regularly partnering with Global Head of Benefits and participating on US Benefits Committee.
Ensures strong partnership with SVP, Regional People Partnership regarding regional initiatives that require payroll expertise
Ensures that active and retired members of the Board of Directors are compensated in accordance with pertinent plan designs and member elections; provides information for annual tax reporting and proxy statement disclosure.
Responsible for the transformation of pay services, consolidating and simplifying the function, process, technology, and vendors.
Creation of a best-in-class service delivery and operating model leveraging the best of in-house team, 3rd party vendors, and key technology partners.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $160,269 to $330,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
