Through strategic programs, partnerships, and large-scale initiatives such as the 1 Billion Followers Summit, Creators HQ works closely with major social media platforms to empower creators and drive innovation in the global creator ecosystem. About the Role We are looking for an experienced and highly strategic Global Head of Platforms to lead Creators HQ’s relationships with major global social media platforms including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and others. In this role, you will manage executive-level partnerships with platform leadership teams and oversee platform collaborations across Creators HQ and the 1 Billion Followers Summit. You will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, integrating platforms into programming and initiatives, and ensuring strong platform participation across campaigns, creator programs, and events. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in platform partnerships, strong industry relationships, and a strong understanding of the global creator economy. Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Partnership Strategy Own and lead strategic relationships with global social media platform leadership teams Serve as the main point of contact between Creators HQ, the 1 Billion Followers Summit, and platform partners Develop and execute long-term platform engagement strategies Platform Engagement & Collaboration Lead executive engagement with platforms including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and others Align platform collaborations with creator programs, campaigns, and government initiatives Identify and unlock new partnership opportunities with key platform partners Summit & Program Integration Ensure strong platform participation across programming, creator initiatives, and campaigns Coordinate closely with internal teams to deliver platform commitments and activations Oversee platform houses and official platform presence at the 1 Billion Followers Summit Support government-related initiatives involving platform partnerships Platform Management & Reporting Manage ongoing communication and alignment with platform stakeholders Monitor platform priorities, product updates, and regional strategies to inform partnerships Provide reporting and strategic insights to leadership on platform collaborations RequirementsQualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in platform partnerships, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem roles Direct experience working with or closely with major social media platforms such as Meta, YouTube, TikTok, or Snapchat preferred Proven track record managing senior stakeholder and leadership relationships Strong understanding of the global creator economy and platform ecosystems Excellent communication and executive presentation skills (English essential, Arabic is a plus) Experience working on large-scale global initiatives or events preferred Skills & Attributes Strong strategic thinking and partnership development skills Ability to manage complex multi-partner collaborations Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills A Plus Former experience within a major social media platform Strong existing network across global platform leadership teams Experience managing multi-market platform collaborations Familiarity with government and public sector collaborations involving platforms Ability to structure high-impact strategic partnerships at scale
