Job Description We’re recruiting for a Global Head of Research to lead an integrated Credit and Equity Research platform, overseeing a globally distributed team of analysts across London, Chicago, Singapore and Hong Kong. You will be responsible for driving the intellectual rigor, strategic direction, and collaborative culture of the research function and its interaction with portfolio managers across public and private markets while delivering the necessary output to other internal stakeholders. You will be leading the Global Sector Research Model, integrating macro and micro insights and embedding financially material sustainability factors. Driving the adoption of technology, AI and advanced analytics to modernise and scale the research process. Playing a central role in Monthly Strategy Meetings, shaping differentiated investment insights. Guiding the ongoing evolution of the global research platform—including the integration of private‑asset research, to ensure it aligns with client needs, strategic priorities and a fully multi‑asset future. What you’ll be doing: Leading and developing a globally distributed team of credit, equity and real‑asset analysts, fostering collaboration and consistent standards across regions Leading the modernisation of the research process by embedding advanced technology and AI to enhance efficiency, scalability, idea generation, and enable analysts to focus on the high‑value drivers of performance Setting and maintaining clear research priorities, ensuring high‑quality, actionable insight across asset classes Owning and evolving the Global Sector Model, aligning macro and micro views and embedding financially material sustainability themes Driving and integrating research outputs into investment decision‑making, delivering high‑conviction recommendations and supporting new initiatives Ensuring and enforcing consistent application of sector frameworks with clear accountability across teams Shaping and contributing to Monthly Strategy Meetings with rigorous macro–micro synthesis and thought leadership Guiding and developing the future global research platform, including integration of private‑asset research and alignment with strategic priorities Qualifications Who we’re looking for: Significant investment experience, ideally with prior buy‑ or sell‑side analytical responsibility Proven ability to lead the integration of advanced technology and AI across the research process, to enhance scalability, efficiency, screening, monitoring and idea generation Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted internal and external relationships Experienced in leading global teams, navigating matrix structures and driving delivery across multi‑disciplinary groups Deep understanding of business models, market dynamics, products, distribution, operations and compliance Strong technical expertise in financial modelling, accounting and sector/industry analysis Proven capability in commercial due diligence, assessing market demand, competitive position and revenue drivers Highly numerate and analytical, able to interpret trends, assess risks and develop actionable strategic insights Commercial, delivery‑focused leader with strong communication skills and the ability to articulate and implement a global research model Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
