The Global Head of Retirement Investment Product will oversee the global strategy, development, and management of retirement investment solutions. Reporting to the Global Head of Product, with a matrix line to the Global Head of Retirement, this role is instrumental in shaping the product management framework, ensuring alignment with GWAM’s global strategy and adherence to industry best practices.
The role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of retirement investment products, advancing proprietary asset growth, managing third-party partnerships, and identifying opportunities in collaboration with sales and relationship management teams.
This global mandate includes oversight of investment platform strategy across our U.S., Canadian, and Asian Retirement businesses, in close partnership with regional CEOs. Additional responsibilities include establishing a global recordkeeping product framework and governance process, optimizing existing product portfolios, and developing profitability frameworks for both clients and products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in product management within the financial services or retirement investment sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing high-performing retirement investment products.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with a results-driven, agile, and visionary approach to retirement product strategy.
  • Strong strategic and analytical acumen, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and the competitive landscape.
