KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in relevant industries, ideally Sports/Outdoor/Fashion/Apparel industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the different sales channels (own e-com, wholesale, pureplayer, distributor, agent)
  • Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing and negotiating and change management
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business (ideally with marketing and sales focus) or equivalent relevant experiencePro-active approach demonstrating high initiative, energy and passion and an eye for all the different channels.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role consists of developing and implementing a global sales strategy for Sweet Protection in accordance with the overall growth and profitability targets. Sweet Protection sales potential is estimated to be at 600 MNOK in 2029.
To reach the growth the Brand sales manager needs to build and execute on an integrated marketplace strategy, together with the Sweet Protection management team.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Management

  • Represent Sales department in the Sweet Protection management team
  • Main Sweet Protection contact for all sales people, distributors and agents (together with sales ops)

Financial planning (long term)

  • Lead the sales business plan for Sweet Protection in line with the set targets, with a special focus on own e-com, wholesale and pure players (together with the GM)
  • Proactively collect and review the weekly orderbook with reporting and estimates. Prepare reports for management team when requested.
  • Overall responsible for Sales forecasting (together with the purchasing manager)
  • Sales responsible for pricing and margin management (together with Brand GM)

Go-to-market plans (seasonal)

  • Sales responsible for product segmentation and customer classification
  • Own the development and execution of the Go-to-Market plans/tools and ensure sales strategies and activities are aligned with brand goals/initiatives to maximize consumer connections, brand positioning and financial objectives.
  • Plan and execute all seasonal sales plans together with marketing manager and General Manager
  • Plan and execute all seasonal sales meetings for Sweet Protection (together with SP management team)
  • Define seasonal sales strategies and Go-to-Market approaches for Sweet Protection in all channels in partnership with the local sales teams as well as the global sales teams
  • Product development & marketing
  • Provide feedback from customers across all markets to the product development team (design, development)
  • Participate in design and development meetings
  • Cooperation with marketing department regarding seasonal preparations and planning
