Description
Overall management of the global Business hotel program. Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including the development of business requirements and presentation of recommendations to leadership. Develop and implement category strategies that align with overall business goals and drive program optimization. Conduct thorough market research, including benchmarking, and analyze spend and compliance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to negotiate pricing agreements, and terms to ensure a competitive advantage. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, leveraging them to achieve business objectives. Monitor and manage vendors to ensure the hotel program design effectively supports evolving business needs. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Prepare and present regular reviews on category performance to management. Strategic Thinker: Possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to develop and execute innovative category strategies. Analytical Acumen: Proficient in analyzing spend and compliance data, identifying key trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies. Negotiation & Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex pricing agreements, and terms, and to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
