Key Functions and Responsibilities The Global HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) Manager will spearhead the strategic design, development, and implementation of specialized HR programs and frameworks to support GCF mission and strategic priorities. These CoEs encompass core domains such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Talent Management, along with emerging priorities tailored to organizational growth and development. The Global HR CoEs Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders and HR Business Partners to embed these frameworks into GCF’s operational fabric, driving organizational impact through sustainable and forward-thinking HR practices. Description of the Job Input * Provide leadership and subject-matter leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide strategies and frameworks for talent acquisition, talent management and total rewards programs to attract, nurture, develop and retain top talent ensuring alignment with the GCF’s mission and core values * Set and define the strategic direction for the HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), ensuring alignment with GCF’s organizational objectives and strategy and long-term workforce needs. * Exercise managerial and professional leadership over multidisciplinary HR experts, setting priorities, building capability, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. * Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership on complex and sensitive people-related matters, by providing expert judgment, options, and evidence-based recommendations. * Apply advanced HR and organizational expertise to shape forward-looking HR policies, frameworks, and special programs that strengthen workforce capability and enhance employee value propositions. * Apply advanced HR expertise to develop forward-looking HR policies and special programs that strengthen workforce capabilities and employee experience. * Establish and maintain high-level stakeholder relationships, influencing HRBPs, senior leaders, and external partners to align workforce requirements with organizational priorities and employee value propositions Throughput * Translate strategic HR direction into integrated and scalable CoE initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration with HR Business Partners, business units, and management teams. * Apply expert judgment to lead the design and operationalization of global talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent is aligned with organizational needs. * Design and lead frameworks/programs that support GCF regional presence and evolving organizational needs. * Drive continuous improvement through systems thinking and digital enablement, collaborating on HR technology solutions that address functional gaps and enhance CoE effectiveness. * Shape and refine enterprise-level people solutions in areas such as strategic workforce planning, leadership and management development, succession planning, forward-looking performance management framework, and rewards structures that ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. Output * Deliver organization-wide total rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and talent strategies across global markets. * Establish and monitor enterprise-level performance and impact of CoE initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. * Influence organizational capability and leadership effectiveness through the delivery of performance management frameworks and deliver innovative managerial and leadership development programs that enable accountability, growth, and development. * Represent GCF in external HR fora and benchmarking activities while strengthening institutional reputation against best practices in global HR management. Requirements * Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Studies, Psychology, or relevant fields; or a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields with an additional two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the Master’s degree requirement. * At least 15 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources Management covering all the relevant areas — performance management and development, learning and training, career development, talent acquisition, staff engagement, total rewards and retention initiatives; * Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing global CoEs in international organizations. * Strong understanding of HR best practices, international employment laws, and regulations. * Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with overall business goals and objectives. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. * Skilled in persuading and influencing stakeholders to gain support for HR initiatives. * Demonstrated experience in driving HR initiatives that contribute to organizational success. * Proficiency in navigating and facilitating change initiatives within the organization. * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively navigate a dynamic business environment. * For details on grade levels, salary scales and benefits, please refer to: https://www.greenclimate.fund/document/staff-regulations The closing date for application is 16 March 2026.
