JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Global HRIS Analyst to join our team in Syracuse, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our global Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to support our organization’s HR processes and strategic initiatives worldwide.

  • Configuration, maintenance, and system-side quality assurance of the Workday HCM system, including data error analysis, data integrity checks, and first-level support for HR end users; close coordination with external Application Management Service (AMS) partners
  • System ownership for HR-specific tools (e.g., Culture Amp, SmartRecruiters), including interface monitoring, user administration, and functional support during daily operations
  • Process and system consulting: analysis of existing HR processes and HR data flows, identification of optimization opportunities, and requirements gathering and evaluation in collaboration with HR stakeholders

  • Participation in international HR digitalization projects: support for system rollouts, testing of new system features, and technical integration into existing HR processes, as well as release management
  • Knowledge management: development and delivery of training sessions for HR users, documentation of system processes, and derivation and communication of best practices and trends from new Workday releases

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Several years of experience in the administration, configuration, and process support of Workday, particularly in interface and permission management, as well as collaboration with international teams and external IT service providers
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and database management
  • Fluent in English with preference to both English and German speaking, both written and spoken, ideally with experience in an international, matrix-oriented work environment
  • Strong ability to translate functional HR requirements into system-based solutions, along with structured analysis of system errors and process deviations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • HRIS certifications such as HRIP or SHRM-CP are preferred
  • Experience with global data privacy regulations, including GDPR
