Description
Develops IH programs such as chemical hygiene, radiation safety, ventilation standards, and occupational exposure levels (OELs). Oversees the implementation of these standards. Lead the delivery of qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments. Perform exposure risk assessment projects for chemicals (gases, vapors, dusts, aerosols, etc.), biological (viable and non-viable mold, bloodborne pathogens, etc.), physical (noise, extreme temperatures, non-ionizing radiation), and ergonomic stressors. Aligns occupational exposure monitoring standards for chemical and gases across locations globally with consideration to local regulations, standards, and capabilities. Maintains OEL registry. Preparation of hazardous materials release impact assessments, abatement specifications, work plans, and operation and maintenance programs. Influence planning and design groups to optimize risk, efficiency, and speed for new hazardous material usage. Supports emergency preparedness and response plans for Lam-specific hazards and site conditions. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree or related work experience preferred. Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience. Must be able to travel internationally up to 25%. Must be fluent in English. Certified Industrial Hygiene certification preferred. Must be capable of obtaining certification within established time upon hire.
