Segment: Royal Canin Type of contract: Permanent The Global Innovation Development Officer plays a pivotal role in managing projects or specific project tasks that contribute to the timely, complete, and accurate delivery of Best-In-Class Nutritional Solutions for Healthy and Sick Pets. These solutions are designed to be ready-to-go across all demand models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. What are we looking for? You bring at least 3 years experience in FMCG, managing projects within innovation area or similar You are an hand-on and data driven person able to analyze consumers needs You have a strong technical skills such with Excel, Power BI, AI tools, etc. You have strong communication skills, and your leadership enables you to effectively engage and bring your stakeholders on board to your projects. You have a strategical mindset What would be your key responsibilities? Operating with a high degree of collaboration, autonomy, and organizational agility, this role requires a strong capability in Innovation Management and a solid understanding of the QUEST process alongside all applicable Quality Requirements. You'll work closely with Innovation Development Managers, Pillar Activation teams, and Portfolio Managers to guarantee consistency, smooth execution, and efficient product launches. Your role will involve an extensive collaboration with various internal stakeholders, including Research & Development (R&D), Insights, Graphic Chain, Brand Communication, VCO, Regulatory Affairs, and others, as well as with external partners such as agencies. This cross-functional engagement ensures that innovation projects are aligned with market trends, regulatory standards, and brand strategies. A key aspect of the role is a proactive curiosity and commitment to continuous learning—creating the time and space to deepen understanding of the category, evolving customer needs, and pain points. This mindset supports the development of innovative solutions that resonate with consumers and meet market demands. Additionally, the Global Innovation Development Officer actively participates in the Innovation Development team’s live engagements and contributes to internal management processes, including performance reviews, Post Launch Reviews, and other strategic meetings. Success in this role demands strategic thinking, organizational agility, a strong willingness to learn and grow, excellent written communication skills, and a consistent track record of delivering results aligned with business goals.
