JPMorgan’s Corporate Investment Banking division delivers premier advisory and financial structuring services to clients. The Product Controller team ensures the integrity of financial statements, robust transaction controls, and provides strategic business advisory and accounting support. Key responsibilities span financial and management reporting, compliance with accounting policies, business analytics, and expense management. As the Loans Product Controller within the Global Investment Bank, you will have the dynamic opportunity to develop expertise across banking products, collaborate with senior business leaders, and partner with Commercial and Investment Bank Central Finance teams. Job responsibilities Evaluate and manage complex syndicated loan transactions, ensuring appropriate accounting in accordance with Corporate Accounting Policy and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Lead formal learning sessions on loan syndication requirements for business partners. Oversee month-end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective risk mitigation, while ensuring compliance with P&L, legal entity, and product control standards, including transfer pricing regulations. Analyze and report on Debt Capital Markets RWA, liquidity outflows, and balance sheet metrics, and advise on efficient balance sheet and RWA management at business and regional levels. Support balance sheet, capital, and external reporting, as well as forecasting and planning cycles. Drive new business initiatives and lead strategic projects for the DCM business. Collaborate with Corporate Tax, Legal Entity Control, Legal, and other stakeholders to execute new SLAs. Investigate and communicate business drivers behind significant financial movements to key partners. Respond to audit inquiries and support regulatory reporting, SOX testing, and ad hoc business requests. Champion continuous improvement by identifying and addressing process deficiencies. Lead forecasting and provide commentary for regulatory disclosures. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting 5+ years relevant experience. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and process improvement mindset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Organized, with proven project management capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills for global stakeholder engagement. Advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with Essbase, CDGL, and LIQ .
