Here’s the scoop - Summary The Global IT Security Analyst plays a key role in protecting our global technology environment by monitoring security alerts and conducting hands‑on investigations. You’ll work with modern security tools, support incident response, and help strengthen our defenses through continuous improvement and smart vulnerability management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves solving problems, staying ahead of threats, and making a real impact on our organization’s security posture. This position is in primary Champion offices, working an hybrid schedule with 3 days in-person and requires some travel to other Champion locations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and triage global SOC alerts, perform investigations (logs, endpoint forensics, network traffic), and support coordinated incident response activities Document findings, complete RCAs, and drive corrective actions; contribute to the Incident Response Lifecycle Runbook Conduct and validate vulnerability scans across cloud, on‑prem, network, and endpoints Prioritize findings, track remediation with system/application owners, and support long‑term reduction strategies (patching, baselines, automation) Administer and optimize core security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, IAM, MDM/MAM) Maintain tool integrations and enhance detection logic, tuning, and automation workflows Support internal/external audits, evidence gathering, and compliance reporting Assist with risk assessments, control testing, and maturity improvement initiatives Support supplier security reviews, penetration testing activities, and remediation tracking Contribute to security awareness programs, training, and phishing simulations Operate within ITIL processes and support eDiscovery, litigation holds, tabletop exercises, backup validation, and resiliency improvements Requirements: Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Cyber Security or related discipline 3–5 years in security operations or technical IT operations Experience with vulnerability management, SIEM/EDR, incident response Knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud, endpoint protection Exposure to Zero Trust, IAM, penetration testing Relevant certifications are an asset Work extended hours, including evenings and weekends if required, and stay accessible via company cell phone for after-hours IT Security support Position Competencies Ability to interact with and provide support to a diverse group of Associates at all levels Strong interpersonal, customer relationship/partnership to facilitate the implementation of new technologies across business units Experience in change management to fully leverage technology to drive innovative ideas in the IT group Fluent in English, both written and spoken Ability to travel between the Company’s locations, and willingness to accept temporary assignment(s) to additional Company locations Some travel is required What can you expect from Champion? The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
