We are expanding our European teams in Stuttgart or Barcelona. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Location Controller to strengthen our global location controlling function. This role will be responsible for the financial management and oversight of our seven current locations, as well as supporting the establishment of new locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management & Monitoring: Oversee the financial health and performance of our seven global locations. Provide support in setting up new locations, including establishing accounting, controlling, and reporting processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including completing reporting templates in collaboration with accounting departments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), performing target/actual comparisons (as-is vs. budget) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liquidity Management: Maintain oversight of liquidity positions for each location.
  • Cost Control: Analyze cost structures across all locations, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop financial forecasts and budgets for each location, contributing to the overall financial planning process. Support the reporting cycle in planning and budgeting activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor budget adherence and achievement of financial targets across all locations. Proactively address any deviations or potential issues.
  • Transfer Pricing: Manage and document transfer pricing between locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for location managers on all financial matters. Consult regularly with Managing Directors and relevant teams. This role requires a global perspective and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders worldwide.
