SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 8-12 years of progressive recruiting experience, with significant time supporting global or multinational organizations.
  • 4+ years of experience managing and developing geographically distributed recruitment teams.
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems — Greenhouse preferred.
  • Proven change management experience in leading recruiting organizations through transformation and scaling.
  • A demonstrated commitment to building high-performing, inclusive teams by leveraging innovation, operational rigor, and a growth mindset.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to translate recruiting data into actionable insights.
  • Comfort recruiting across multiple talent markets, from early career to senior executive roles.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, relationship-building, and elevating the global hiring experience.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Appfire is looking for a talented and experienced Global Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our worldwide hiring initiatives. At Appfire, we take a highly engaged and transparent approach centered on our core values and our desire to be a true partner to our candidates and hiring managers. This role is a critical member of our global People team and will play a vital part in delivering empathetic, strategic, and knowledgeable partnerships across all regions where we operate.
You will oversee and continuously improve the end-to-end hiring process across North America, Europe, and Asia, ensuring that our recruiting practices scale with Appfire’s rapid growth and transformation.

YOUR EVERYDAY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Lead the full life cycle recruitment process globally, ensuring alignment to regional and functional hiring needs.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage a distributed team of recruiters across multiple geographies.
  • Partner closely with the global People team and business leaders to craft effective, localized recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, guiding workforce planning, sourcing strategies, and hiring decisions.
  • Manage a network of recruiting vendors internationally, ensuring accountability for key performance metrics.
  • Design and implement scalable recruiting strategies, processes, and guidelines to attract and retain top global talent.
  • Identify and champion best-in-class assessment, interviewing, selection, and closing practices across diverse markets.
  • Modernize and streamline the recruiting process, infrastructure, tools, and overall candidate experience on a global scale.
  • Lead the evolution of our candidate experience from initial sourcing to offer acceptance, with an eye toward consistency and excellence across all regions.
  • Supervise and optimize global recruitment process initiatives and technology solutions.
  • Deliver talent insights and market research to inform recruiting strategies and influence business decisions.
  • Personally manage select executive or high-priority requisitions as needed.
