QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Commerce with at least 15 years’ experience (progressive career) in Shipping Industry preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Shipping experience with a proven business or marketing focus.
• A solid understanding of the financial drivers to the business and customers
• Financial and business acumen: ability to prepare and analyse financial data in support of business initiatives, and make sound financial decisions
• Highly developed communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Good knowledge of general macro economic principles and international trade.

• Proven problem solving skill, with ability to communicate with all department styles.

The Global Market managers empowers Commercial to deliver prices to customers whilst ensuring annual contribution numbers are hit. This function leads the pricing function for the organisation.
