To support this ambition, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to accelerate the commercial development of a new asset with multiple indications, and prepare the organization for outstanding global launches. The Global Marketing Director, oPCSKi, will report to the Global Head of Marketing, CVRM. Job overview: The Global Marketing Director will lead the strategic development and execution of patient-centric strategies and programs focused on dyslipidemia. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the cardiovascular landscape, patient needs, and innovative approaches to healthcare marketing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance patient engagement, improve health outcomes, and drive long-term relationships with key stakeholders globally, market affiliates, and external partners. Accountabilities: Shape Global Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with CVRM Commercial leadership (and other team members) to deliver the global CVRM ambition, including successful product launch and Life Cycle Management plans. Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies tailored to patients with dyslipidemia, ensuring alignment with franchise objectives. Create clear, winning brand strategies that incorporate feedback from key markets Producing detailed strategic and operational commercial plans that address positioning, segmentation, pricing, value proposition, target market selection, etc. Tracking and managing associated budget to target. Customer and Market Insights: Conduct and leverage market research and patient insights to understand patient needs, behaviors, and barriers to treatment adherence. Generate deep customer and market insights to inform the design of the clinical development program, brand strategy and regulatory plans that effectively address unmet customer needs and deliver optimum value back to the business Brand Planning: Design, launch, and manage patient support programs, including educational materials, digital tools, and community engagement initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain external and internal networks of disease area experts Collaborate with healthcare professionals, disease experts, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners to co-create impactful patient programs. Participate and lead discussions with healthcare professionals at advisory boards and conferences. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including local marketing teams, Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Business Insights, Payor and Market Access, to ensure cohesive implementation of strategies. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of patient programs and refine strategies as necessary. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. Budget Management: Developing future proofed revenue forecasts and business cases that are informed by robust customer insights with an overlay of commercial judgement. Oversee allocated budgets for patient programs, ensuring cost-effective strategies that deliver maximum impact. Essential Skills/Experience BA/BS Degree 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical development and commercialization Must have successfully launched brands at a global level Proven strong pre-launch and launch excellence knowledge and skill in Marketing Demonstrated success working in marketing teams to deliver effective commercial brand strategies, compelling business cases. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
