Description
Manage international assignees and permanent transfers during the whole relocation & assignment life cycle, in alignment with business needs, global mobility standards and group strategy. Manage the global mobility standards implementation in compliance with the legal framework of the involved countries and meeting the statutory compliance requirements. Be the main point of contact in global mobility situations; in close relation with business leaders, global mobility team members, country HR and payroll teams, transferees/assignees and external stakeholders. Act as a driver and subject matter expert in projects implying relocation of workforce. Handle complex international situations, international tax and social security aspects and ad-hoc projects. Discuss with business to understand context & needs in order to propose the most relevant global mobility package or options. Prepare assignment / transfer proposals incl. cost projections (cost-to-company comparative), net-for-employee comparatives, legal documentation, compensation statement, reviewing international mobility aspects such as labor legislation, immigration, compensation structure, benefits, social scheme, pension plans, health coverage, income taxes, cost allocations, currency issues, etc. Present proposals to transferees / assignees. Manage local and global processes linked to transferees / assignees, such as budget, annual pay review, actions in our HR systems, ensure proper payroll & recharge execution, review and coordinate tax equalization settlements, etc. Manage global providers for tax, relocation, immigration, health insurance. Responsible for correct billing processes / invoice payment for external mobility providers. Capability to lead global mobility vendors requests for proposal. Identifies, suggests and implements ongoing process improvement for the global mobility programs.
