Your role: As the Global Occupational Safety and Process Safety Lead, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and operations across our Global Healthcare Operations. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will be essential in identifying, assessing, and managing safety risks while driving continuous improvement in occupational and process safety on a global scale. You will collaborate closely with the EHS global team to define and implement a comprehensive safety strategy that aligns with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Serving as a key advisor to senior leadership, you will provide regular updates on safety performance and initiatives, ensuring excellence in hazard analysis and risk assessments. Your leadership will guide the development and standardization of safety procedures and tools across all sites, fostering a robust safety culture. You will also play a critical role in incident investigations, helping to identify root causes and implement lessons learned to prevent recurrence. Your ability to communicate effectively will facilitate the sharing of safety successes and lessons learned throughout the organization. With approximately 30% travel to sites globally, you will enable and oversee the implementation of safety initiatives, making a significant impact on our operations. Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in scientific, engineering, chemical, safety, or other life science field. At least 10 years of experience in Occupational and Process Safety, preferably in an international environment. Strong knowledge of occupational and process safety management, hazard analysis, and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management skills. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Experience with ISO 14001/45001 management systems is preferred.
