We are looking for a Global Perspectives Teacher for an International School in Xiamen. This is a full-time position available for an immediate start. About school This prestigious K-12 international school, established through a partnership with a historic English educational institution and located in Xiamen's Jimei District, offers a comprehensive education from kindergarten through high school. The campus is equipped with modern facilities set against a backdrop of natural beauty. The school aims to nurture leaders who possess a solid understanding of global cultures, an international perspective, and the skills necessary for future success. Job responsibilities Teach global perspectives to middle school students using the IB MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Bachelor degree or above Teaching certificate Two or more years teaching experience in the subject Familiar with the IB MYP curriculum Salary and benefits Monthly salary range of 26,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 4500 to 5000 RMB Paid summer and winter holidays Public holidays In house schooling for the employee’s children Commercial insurance Reimbursable relocation allowance of 6000-10000 RMB Reimbursable flight allowance Incentives for completion of contract Residence and work permit sponsored
