Make a difference as Global Portfolio Manager In this role, you will: Optimize product portfolios through Product Lifecycle Management and Variety Assortment Strategy. Co-create and implement global crop segment strategies for conventional and organic markets. Lead cross-functional teams and global improvement projects. Manage product flow, monitor inventory, and develop sell-out plans for slow-moving varieties. Oversee variety positioning, pricing strategies, and global seed allocations. Ensure registration and variety protection decisions are aligned with business goals. Your team and workplace You will work closely with Breeding, Seed Operations and Marketing & Sales worldwide. While you have no direct reports, you will lead cross-functional teams and guide less experienced portfolio managers and reports to the Global Portfolio Group Manager. Expect frequent international collaboration and travel. What you bring as a future colleague Horticultural/agricultural background and strong analytical skills. 5–10 years of relevant experience in product management or portfolio strategy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic vision combined with a result- and sales-driven mindset. Ability to lead projects and give presentations at all organizational levels. Soft skills like adaptability, collaboration, and cultural awareness are essential, as you’ll operate in a highly complex global market with diverse customers and teams.
