Company Description Stäubli is a Group organized in 4 divisions with different markets and product portfolios: electrical and fluid connectors, industrial robots and textile machine. Our extended supply chain operations are also verticalized by division. We are setting a Corporate Stäubli Operational Excellence (SOE) Office as center of excellence for operational processes across our four divisions. Within the SOE Office, we are creating the supply chain role of Global Process Owner (GPO) Production & Material Planning. The GPO is responsible for the design and continuous improvement of operational processes within his/her scope. The GPO ensures that processes are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, operate efficiently, and comply with relevant regulations and standards. The purpose of this position is to work as business partner to the divisions to increase efficiency and reduce costs by standardizing, simplifying and streamlining our processes at group-level. Job Description Process Design and Documentation Responsible for designing or redesigning processes to meet business goals and standardize processes across the organization, including the setting of SAP parameters, with a holistic view of how the process interacts with upstream and downstream activities Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation (process maps, procedures) Data Quality Ensuring that processes produce and maintain high-quality data Collaborating with stakeholders to define measurable data quality metrics such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness. Analyzing root causes of data quality issues and drive corrective actions Primary point of contact for data-related issues within their process domain Coordinating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data quality objectives and issue resolution Best Practice Sharing and Stakeholder Coordination Leading a community of stakeholders across divisions to identify and share best practices and tools, and work as a team to improve processes Evaluating and integrating technological solutions (such as automation) to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, supporting the organization’s digital transformation Performance Monitoring Overseeing the definition and implementation of standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and process metrics Process Optimization Identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks Collecting, prioritizing, planning and leading implementation of the functional evolutions Initiating proactively, leading or supporting improvement projects with the divisions, using structured methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) to streamline processes and optimize the end-to-end supply chain To achieve this, the GPO must work in close collaboration with other GPOs Change Management and Training The GPO leads and supports the divisions regarding change management related to process updates, ensuring that all affected employees are trained and understand new procedures They also gather feedback and adjust processes as needed Compliance and Risk Management Ensuring that processes adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and best practices The GPO regularly reviews processes for compliance and addresses any non-conformances Qualifications Fluent in both English and French. Proven successful experience in production and material planning. Experience as SAP key user, ideally SAP/4HANA IBP and PPDS. In-depth understanding of concepts and tools related to production & material planning: Forecasting and demand planning; Production/material planning (Sales & Operations Plan, Master Production Schedule, Material Requirements Plan) and detailed scheduling; Inventory management: ABC/XYZ analysis, safety stocks… Operational purchasing and expediting: PO management, supplier portal, lot sizing; Knowledge of transportation and related ESG metrics would be a plus. Additional Information Position based in Annecy. International travel to be foreseen.
