Job purpose: A Requirement for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Global Procurement Governance and Compliance Lead to join our centralized procurement department. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring that procurement policies are aligned with regulations across all global locations and that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are developed, implemented, and updated as needed. The role also involves managing the Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive best practices and continuous improvement, as well as spearheading the digitization of procurement services.   Key Responsibilities and KPIs: Governance and Compliance: * Lead the governance and compliance team, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and regulations globally. * Regularly review and update procurement policies to align with local regulations and global best practices. * Develop and implement compliance monitoring programs to ensure ongoing adherence to procurement policies.   Policy Alignment: * Ensure procurement policies are harmonized across all global locations, taking into account regional regulatory requirements and business needs. * Collaborate with regional procurement teams to understand local regulations and integrate them into global policies.   SOP Development and Maintenance: * Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for procurement activities. * Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in regulations, policies, and business processes. * Ensure SOPs are effectively communicated and implemented across all global procurement teams.   Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for procurement staff on governance and compliance matters.   * Develop training materials and resources to support the understanding and implementation of procurement policies and SOPs.   Risk Management: * Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.   Stakeholder Engagement: * Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and regional procurement teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to procurement governance and compliance. * Act as a liaison with external regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay informed of changes in regulations and best practices.   Center of Excellence (CoE): * Establish and manage a Center of Excellence (CoE) for procurement governance and compliance to drive best practices and continuous improvement. * Develop and disseminate best practice guidelines and tools through the CoE. * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing through the CoE.   Digitization of Procurement Services: * Lead the digitization of procurement services to enhance efficiency and transparency. * Implement digital tools and platforms to streamline procurement processes. * Ensure seamless integration of digital procurement solutions with existing systems. * Leading a team, Teamwork, punctuality, innovation, willingness to take more responsibility. * Increase of process efficiency, value added service.  * Training and development of the team * Digital first should be the approach in any process * Ensure procurement policies are harmonized across all global locations, taking into account regional regulatory requirements and business needs. * Continuous adherence and improvement of process in operational procurement – Process innovation. * Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and regional procurement teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to procurement governance and compliance. * Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for procurement activities * Adherence to Procurement Policies, Banks operating process and procedures must maintain confidentiality of banks and vendor’s information, documents etc.   * Drive the process and ensure adequate reports on system. * Escalation of internal misconduct, breach of code of ethics, confidentiality etc. Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships: Decision Making Authority and Responsibility: 1. Lead the governance and compliance vertical , ensuring adherence to procurement policies and regulations globally. 2. Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies 3. Develop and disseminate best practice guidelines and tools through the CoE   Qualifications: Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field. * A relevant certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is preferred. Experience: * Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement governance, compliance, or a related field. * Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement policies and SOPs in a global organization.
