Description GlobalRx is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to transition into a business-focused pharmaceutical procurement role. This position manages the full quote-to-shipment process, including sourcing medications, negotiating vendor pricing, processing purchase orders, and overseeing shipment accuracy. The role directly impacts revenue and margin growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician looking to move out of retail and into a stable weekday office role. Requirements Key Responsibilities Source prescription and OTC medications from approved vendors Research hard-to-find and backordered drugs Negotiate pricing and apply company markups Prepare and send customer quotes Process purchase orders in ERP system Coordinate shipments and verify order accuracy Manage cold chain and controlled products when required Track shipments and communicate with customers Qualifications Pharmacy Technician experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of NDCs, brand/generic drugs, and dosage forms High attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting Must pass background check and drug screen Why This Role No nights or weekends No patient-facing responsibilities Stable Monday–Friday schedule Opportunity for growth in pharmaceutical distribution and procurement
