Responsibilities
About the team
As the HQ Vertical Product Solutions and Operations Manager for Search Ads, you will be responsible for setting the go-to-market and product growth strategy for your responsible vertical for all regions where the product is in general availability. You will partner closely with the product team and regional teams to develop the overall strategic direction and assess key gaps in our Search Ads offering.
You will use your experience and technical knowledge working with the Search Ads product team to develop the strategy, bring together cross-functional stakeholders to execute your plans and align senior product leadership around those plans. You understand vertical market trends, the competitive landscape, and have experience applying those to positively influence advertisers, agencies, and other cross-functional partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree or above.
  • 5+ years of experience within the digital advertising industry across search, marketplace, social, display, direct response, and/or ad networks with a keen understanding of Search Ads.
  • Experience partnering with product teams to identify and bring to market solutions for sellers.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape of Search Ads
  • Experience using Search Ads products from Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon, etc.
  • Knowledge of advertiser needs for organic search and best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, developing and executing against global launch plans to bring products to market
  • A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis
  • Experience in global roles.
  • Product marketing experience in web & mobile advertising and paid search, and successfully contributing at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong knowledge across key areas of monetization products including ads delivery, keyword bidding, search algo, targeting, privacy, brand safety, and suitability.
  • Experience in influencing product management decisions.
  • Experience in influencing behavior change of key stakeholders at a variety of levels within an organization.

    【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128000 - $290160 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Responsibilities
  • Lead and consolidate market assessment, quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback, represent your responsible vertical across all regions internally with PM and Engineering teams, and define the go-to-market and product growth strategy for TikTok’s ever-evolving Search Ads product.
  • Partner closely with regional counterparts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders, to deeply understand pain points, form business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development.
  • This individual must demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader advertising ecosystem as it pertains to Search Ads and the competitive landscape to develop strategic positioning and provide product feedback.
  • You will be instrumental in setting and owning the product growth target by vertical by region and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
  • Support alpha and beta programs for our Search Ads solutions and new features.
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to vertical stakeholders and ensure that effective collateral and packages are created.
  • Support sales pitching, account deep dive, workshop and T2T for large clients under your responsible verticals.
  • Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting key market strategy and effective product support.
  • Build an understanding of the most nascent TikTok Search Ads solutions and leverage these products to achieve customer goals.
