Description
Mechatronics engineer who will provide technical support to field process engineers, and product support personnel to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues on robototics system Provide technical support for robotic systems at the customer site and troubleshooting to address technical challenges using DOE methodologies. Engage in robotic path programming and computer vision Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems related to process capability gaps Supports customer new tool process qualification, training and BKM document creation Take strong ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring proper accountability from design to release of solutions Train and lead other engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel Works with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed Work onsite in Bangalore India up to 3 to 5 days/week 15 to 20% travel Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 1 years experience; or equivalent experience.in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a similar field. Creative thinking, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities. Experience with robotic hardware design and end effector application development. Maintain and integrate robotic hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation. Program and control 6DOF robots, integrating sensors and actuators for optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot innovative end effectors. Demonstrated understanding of CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, and Creo. Proficiency in ROS, Python, SQL, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and React. Strong knowledge of network communication protocols and computer vision technologies.
