We are seeking Global Logistics Project Manager to join our team in Tognana, Italy. The Global Logistics Project Manager is responsible for designing, optimizing, and automating logistics workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and customer-centric solutions across a complex international network. This role focuses on process mapping, digitalization through RPA and AI, and executing improvements spanning order capture, order management, inventory, and collections. Acting as a key liaison between global and regional teams, the role ensures that strategic logistics projects are delivered successfully and aligned to organizational priorities. What kind of work will you be doing? Lead global and regional logistics projects from initiation through successful implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Design and optimize end-to-end logistics workflows, focusing on automation, scalability, and adaptability for diverse market needs. Map, analyze, and re-engineer logistics processes to eliminate inefficiencies and introduce best practices. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to configure, test, and deploy RPA, AI-driven functionalities, and other relevant digital tools. Drive improvements in order capture, order management, inventory control, and collections processes to maximize operational performance. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, establishing clear timelines and success metrics. Coordinate with cross-functional international teams (finance, supply chain, IT, sales, and operations) to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor, track, and report project performance against objectives, identifying and escalating risks where necessary. Ensure compliance with international trade, logistics regulations, and internal company standards. Serve as subject matter expert in logistics process transformation, advising leadership on opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. What will make you successful? University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in global logistics, supply chain operations, or project management. Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics or operations transformation projects across multiple geographies. Hands-on experience with process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and change management. Strong knowledge of RPA, AI applications, and digital process automation in a logistics or supply chain environment. Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, or comparable platforms). Excellent project management skills, with certification preferred. Strong analytical ability with the capacity to translate data and process insights into actionable improvements. Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, multicultural context. Proficiency in English is required; Italian and/or other languages are an advantage. Strategic thinking with the ability to balance execution detail with long-term vision. Strong focus on delivering measurable, data-driven business impact. Collaborative leadership style with cross-functional influencing skills. Adaptability to complex, fast-paced, and changing business environments.
