  • Experience working with multicultural teams
  • Exposure to product development and production
  • Knowledge of product related laws, requirements & quality processes
  • Is proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Have a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach
  • Skilled in data analysis, excel tools and reporting

Merit: If you have previously worked with retail product categories and have an understanding for production processes, quality control and regulatory requirements that apply to these.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

In this key role, you will be responsible for leading a successful global team, managing, and overseeing all quality -related activities covering product development, quality assurance processes, product quality and regulatory compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the technical team at Rusta´s headquarter, global sourcing offices, global suppliers, and product development teams to maintain a high levels of quality in all our products and delivering to low prices for our customers.
As Quality Manager, you are the owner of the RUSTA Quality policy and accountable for leading and implementing the Quality strategy. You ensure that Rusta’s product range meets the quality standards and compliance for safety, durability, and full functionality from factory to customer. This is a senior leadership role with an expectation to build a strong and motivated Quality team, manage stakeholder relations, be an active member of the sourcing management team, and acting in the interest of total RUSTA.
Rusta has high ambitions and wants to lead the transition to a more sustainable low-price business sector. Our products shall be designed to last for a long time, and we aim to reduce the amount of harmful chemicals and increase the proportion of renewable materials. You are responsible for leading a competent team of product and material specialists and work in close collaboration with the sustainability and packaging team.
As Quality Manager, you are part of the sourcing organization, and you report to the Chief Purchasing officer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Set goals, relevant KPI´s to reach RUSTA´s overall goals
  • Ensure that products comply with legal-, safety-, and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for fast and effective product development
  • Monitor, interpret and implement requirements in upcoming legislations and regulations
  • Manage the company’s producer responsibility, including reporting & documentation
  • Communication with relevant authorities in relevant countries
  • Drive continuous improvements in products, material development and ways of working
  • Lead and coach the global quality team to develop competence and work together
  • Accountability for cost budget and efficient resource planning
  • Being an active member of sourcing management and working together
