Responsibilities

Dyson is on a journey to optimize our retail network and deliver a world class omni retail experience. Through effective cross collaboration with multiple functions, the role of Retail Operations is to create and deliver seamless experience to the Dyson shopper.
We are looking for a dynamic, driven and motivated individual, who is passionate about retail and the customer experience. Partnering with the Sales and Operations teams in the market, this role will support the delivery of a global operating model, focusing on front of house. This includes daily routines, store tools and service-related processes to support the markets in delivering top line growth, whilst driving efficiencies and consistency across our operation.
In addition, this role will support the planning and delivery of various end to end strategic initiatives, collaborating with the markets to optimise the execution.
The Global Retail Operations Specialist will support the Global Retail Operations Manager, focusing on Top 10 stores and fast-growing markets. The individual whilst focusing on Own and Operated and Partner stores will be expected to share best practice, and ideas with Indirect.
Key Responsibilities:

Projects & Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with Cross functional teams across multiple global departments and within Global Retail;
  • Champion an end-to-end approach during discovery stage for any initiatives;
  • Establish relationships with Retail Operations and Sales in the markets. Be the voice of these markets ensuring that all relevant opportunities and challenges are clearly communicated and listened to within a project;
  • Contribute to implementation planning for initiatives such as Omni Services, ensuring the timing of the markets is considered and disruption is minimised;
  • Collaborate with functions within Global Retail e.g. Training, Retail Marketing, on implementation plans and be proactive in identifying risks and, proposing solutions;
  • Creation of tools and playbooks to support implementation of core initiatives:
  • Be first or second line of support for Project go lives. Providing clear guidance and action plans:
  • Project status reports and post implementation reviews. Ability to review measure of success and provide comprehensive updates and reporting to key stakeholders.

Retail Operations:

  • Proactively, identify operational opportunities and risks, across the markets. Take steps to understands the reasons and make suggestions to drive the right action;
  • Co Create and develop operational processes to drive in store efficiencies:
  • Be bold in reviewing existing process and ways of working to remove, or adapt, current practices that do not add value to the customer;
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge hubs and shared locations for all markets to access relevant and timely information;
  • Be the first line of support for market peers facing challenges and provide timely resolution and escalation:
  • Support Retail Leaders with ad hoc requests.
