BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales leadership experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure, cloud platforms, or AI-powered solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading global or multi-region sales teams and achieving aggressive revenue goals.
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale ($20M+ TCV) hybrid cloud or AI solution deals with enterprise clients.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, AI/ML applications, edge computing, and hybrid/multi-cloud models.
  • Exceptional executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior IT and business decision-makers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep knowledge of the hybrid cloud and AI competitive landscape, including partnerships with hyperscalers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Nvidia).
  • Experience structuring creative commercial and consumption-based models for cloud and AI services.
  • Strong operational background in scaling global sales processes and developing high-performance sales talent.
  • Passion for innovation and a future-forward mindset with the ability to align Lenovo’s vision to emerging client needs.
    This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. with preference for the Eastern or Central time zones. If you’re near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office—great for collaboration and connection!

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Director, Global Sales Leader – Hybrid Cloud & AI Solutions, you will drive Lenovo’s global go-to-market strategy for our rapidly growing Hybrid Cloud and AI portfolio. Reporting to executive leadership, you will be accountable for scaling revenue, building strategic customer relationships, and orchestrating complex solution sales across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI-driven services. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a strong track record in enterprise technology sales and an ability to lead a globally distributed sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Global Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales strategy that drives adoption and revenue growth across Lenovo’s Hybrid Cloud and AI offerings.
  • Enterprise Deal Leadership: Lead strategic pursuits for multi-million-dollar hybrid cloud and AI opportunities, aligning with Fortune 500 clients on digital transformation agendas.
  • Customer-Centric Engagement: Engage with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to understand business needs and align Lenovo’s AI and cloud solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Solution Sales Enablement: Streamline and scale sales motions, including technical solutioning, pricing models, and commercial negotiations to accelerate sales velocity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware sales, marketing, offering teams, and delivery teams to co-develop go-to-market initiatives and close complex global deals.
  • Market Expansion: Identify whitespace opportunities and drive market penetration in both established and emerging markets through partner ecosystems and direct sales.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a global team of high-performing sales professionals. Build capabilities in AI and cloud solution selling while fostering a performance-driven culture.
