REQUIREMENTS:

  • A university degree, ideally in Chemistry; a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Business is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in sales within the chemical industry with a focus on Home Care and Personal Care being strong advantage
  • Flexible and adaptable to chancging conditions with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Recognized as a reliable and trustworthy partner by stakeholders with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and confidence in decision-making
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and managing long-term supply and sales contracts
  • Open-mindet, team-oriented, proactive and ready to embrace new challenges
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and reporting skills
  • Competent in use of IT tools, inculding MS Office, Salesforce, SAP or similar
  • Fluent English and ideally German; additional language skills are a plus
  • Willing to travel internationally to existing and prosoective customers with travel commitments of up to 30%

Catexel GmbH serves the FMCG consumer market with specialty chemicals for household cleaning and personal care as well as for industrial applications. The product groups include surfactants, builders, bleach activators and catalysts, soil release polymers as well as thickeners and emulsifiers. The company based in the Kalle-Albert Idustrial Park in Wiesbaden and is part of the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG).
ICIG currently has around 30 industrial sites worldwide in Europe and the USA with a total of around 6,800 employees and a sales volume of approx. 3.6 billon euros.

Responsibilities
  • As a Global Sales Manager you are responsible for Sales of Home Care an Personal Care products in an international enviroment, reporting to the Head of Sales
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while actively developing new sales channels
  • Building a strong customer network and identifying opportunities to engage potentiol customers in targeted markets to drive sales revenue
  • Achieve long-term business success by managing pricing, negotiating contracts and securing agreements that foster sustainable growth ans strong customer partnerships
  • Leverage market analysis, operational data and market trends to set strategic goals, implement actionable business growth plans, provide detailes reporting on sales performance and identify opportunities for expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Business Development, Supply Chain and Production to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Participate in conferences and industry events to enhance market understanding and promote Catexel´s presence
