To support this mission, Syngenta’s Production & Supply Team is seeking a Global Seeds Hub SME in Montevideo. This role ensures operational excellence by providing subject matter expertise on hub flow and order management activities. This role acts as subject matter expert in hub operations and provides support to users for activities such as month-end, user onboarding, and acts as the first line of support for hub-related issues. The SME also plays a key role in transformation projects and represents the global hubbing model across regions. Accountabilities Operations Monitoring & Collaboration: Monitor global Seeds Hub operations, resolve IDoc and SAP issues, and collaborate with hub teams to ensure consistent procedures and share best practices across regions. Hub Operations Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in hub operations, applying SAP expertise and hubbing principles to support standard and exceptional scenarios across global production regions. Transformation & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support global Seeds Hub transformation initiatives, represent the global hubbing model across regions, and collaborate with P&S stakeholders on cross-functional projects and new transactional flows (e.g., S/4HANA). User Support & Training: Provide first-line support for hub-related activities; support Operations Manager with onboarding and training of new hub users. Oversee execution of payments to growers subcontractors in LATAM region. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service & Order Management roles, planning or other supply related areas. Sound understanding of SAP order flows, intercompany processes and preferably experienced in a hubbing setup. Experience in supporting / contributing in cross-regional and cross-functional relationships and projects. Advanced level of English. Basic understanding of foreign trade. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Adapts communication style and content to the needs of the audience. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, matrix environment. Desired Prior experience in a hubbing or shared-service setup is an advantage. Strong understanding of financial principles, with particular emphasis on transfer pricing. Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and curiosity; proactively identifying opportunities to create added value. Strong critical thinking skills, using data-driven and logical analysis to identify root causes and address underlying issues.
