We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Service Executive Principal responsibilities Complete all processing activities assigned as per the SLAs agreed for the Business. Complete account administration requests as provided in accordance with available DIMs. Conduct research to resolve discrepancies to satisfaction of all parties and within established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Create all necessary system entries for securities and cash movements. Disseminate relevant account details to Front Office Managers in concise, timely fashion when requested. Prompt and accurate resolution of any reconciliation breaks.. Comply with Policies and Procedures and established guidelines of the FIM and procedures. Ensure settlement activities comply with all relevant Bank policies, procedures, GSM, FIM and DIM. Represent the bank in a professional manner whilst following up with various stakeholders. Ensure all enquiries are handled appropriately within assigned authority levels and escalate other enquiries to appropriate parties.. Assist with special Ad Hoc Reporting and Projects. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in Back Office processing, accounting. (E) Prior Experience in Investment Operations/Securities processing related activities will be an added advantage. (D) Knowledge and awareness of Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions/Income processing) and/or any other Securities Ops function like Settlements (D) Good knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial instruments. (E) Proficiency in one or more platforms – AVALOQ, SFE, TLM, Request Builder/Bloomberg Considerable flexibility in working varying shifts to support UK/US business hours, when necessary, which will normally be from around 12:30pm – 21:30pm IST (UK business hours) or 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST (US Business hours) DST applicable & 6:30 am – 3:30pm (APAC hours). Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
