Global Service Operations Planner – Aftermarket Service Operations
Position within the company
Under the hierarchical and functional leadership of the Global Aftermarket Service Operations Leader.
Objective
As a Global Service Operations Planner, reporting to the Global Aftermarket Service Operations Leader, you will be providing support in the development of service programs within the AMSS Biogas, Beverage CO2 recovery, and Industrial Gas CO2 recovery Service portfolio. You will actively work with the Field Service Operations team, to ensure completeness, accuracy and clarity of up-front planning schedules, the identification of critical technical service work preparation, spare parts tracking, delivery of essential technical documentation and the timely communication of upfront planning program status and any delays and issues arising, along with mitigation strategies.
Tasks and responsibilities
The Global Service Operations Planner is accountable for preparing and delivering upfront planning and execution readiness of preventative maintenance and equipment repair activities for the AMSS Biogas, Beverage CO2 recovery, and Industrial Gas CO2 recovery Service portfolio. You are also required to ensure the correct follow-up to the related departments (Field Service Operations, Spare Parts Sales (AMS Sales), Technical Support Engineering, Sourcing & Logistics.
- Effectively plan and assignment scheduling of approx. 35 service engineers globally,
- Effectively schedules up front planning programs for onsite service works in line with the demands of the customer to meet AMS Service Operations execution KPI targets.
- Organizes technical work packages relating to repair, preventative, predictive, and outsourced maintenance activities (by service partners) across the AMSS Biogas, Beverage CO2 recovery and Industrial Gas CO2 recovery Service portfolio.
- Responsible for estimating productive hours for sub-contractors, defining complete service job scope (in cooperation with the technical support engineering team), scheduling service special tools and materials, collating EHS documents, initiating sub-contractor purchase orders, initiating SLA Spare Parts and Consumables purchase orders, tracking Spare Parts orders as well as logistically deliveries, and any other aspects related to service job execution.
- Support, execute and enforce all upfront Service Planning Strategies, to optimize task of upfront planning and execution readiness alignment with the Field Service Operation and Regional Execution team.
- Communicates with interdepartmental stakeholder, Field Service Operations Team, Field Service Engineers, and the Technical Support Team to ensure planning activities are prioritized in line with the AMS Service Operations demands.
- Continuously review and improve the upfront service planning process.
- Owner of the biogas consignment stock and 3PL liaison.

Job requirements
- MTS or MTS+ education, (level 4).
- Deep SAP ERP knowledge
- Deep Salesforce Field Service knowledge is a plus.
- Good in MS Office
- At least 5 years of experience as a service or operations planner.
- Strong background and knowledge in Industrial Plant operations and maintenance
- Direct experience delivering or executing work within maintenance and operations Experience communicating and interfacing with all levels of the company and outside contacts.
- Being able to intervene appropriately when problems arise.
- English (very good speaking and writing skills), Dutch (good speaking and writing skills), and possibly German (good speaking and writing skills).
- You can operate well both independently and within a team.
- Able to manage multidisciplinary work and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
