Your responsibility is to secure that workshops in Volvo bus retail markets have the required trainings they need to secure product knowledge for workshop technicians.
Your main stakeholders will be market trainers, for who you will develop training material and train how to run these trainings for workshop technicians. The engineering network and project teams, from whom you will get information about new products and technical solutions. With these inputs you shall identify what trainings needs to be developed for future, plan accordingly, develop trainings, and train.
You are expected to develop trainings in most efficient way to secure knowledge transfer to technicians, i.e., using correct media, for example, traditional classroom knowledge transfer, exercises, test, training videos, e-learnings, VR, AR, balance between ‘interactive exercises’ and ‘listening’ etc.
The position reports to Manager, Global service Training.
Main activities and responsibilities:
1. Develop trainings: Develop trainings in accordance with projects and market needs
2. Train the Trainer: Train market trainers on how to conduct the training and teach the workshop technicians.
