Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in Helsinki or Stockholm as a ‘Global Solution Sales Manager’. The Global Solution Sales Manager role sits within the Treasury & Trade Solutions team in the Nordics and provides a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of essentially Nordic-based Global corporate clients. The role holder will have a demonstrated excellence in the origination of complex corporate digital solutions across payments, liquidity management, card, E-commerce and working capital solutions, requiring solid understanding of corporate business and organizational models. With the technological agenda of the payment industry and the gradual adoption of direct-to-consumer strategies, a good understanding of the benefits of emerging digital solutions is becoming essential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead the sales origination, pipeline development, customer revenue growth of a portfolio of assigned Corporate clients in the Nordics
  • Increase customer penetration and cross-sell of TTS products and solutions across a 95+ country network with existing and new clients, leveraging relevant data driven sales tools and insights to drive origination .
  • Become a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to our corporate clients for complex cash and working capital solutions, developing differentiated client dialogue across relevant client buying centres, in partnership with product, industry and specialist sales partners.
  • Support relevant client experience initiatives, working in close partnership with relevant banking, servicing and client success teams.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including banking teams to define client priorities, develop robust client account plans and ensure coordinated and sustained client calling routines.
  • Drive sustained client engagement and support a range of TTS and franchise marketing initiatives in driving thought leadership.
  • Work with control functions as and when required, such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Be part of a culture where we demonstrate responsible finance, have good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
