Job description for Global Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d) for our client.

Your tasks.

• Development and implementation of global procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality and delivery times.
• Identification, selection and qualification of new suppliers worldwide
• Negotiation of prices, delivery terms and framework agreements with international partners
• Analysis and evaluation of market and supplier developments to minimize risk
• Collaboration with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, quality management) to ensure smooth supply chains.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
• Using digital tools and analytics to continuously optimize the sourcing process

Your profile .

• Completed studies in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in strategic or global purchasing, ideally in an international environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office
• Knowledge of contract management and international trade regulations is an advantage.
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work
• Fluent German and English skills required; additional foreign languages ​​are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for international supplier visits
