This opportunity is a part of Global Procurement CAPEX team, working as Purchaser managing global and regional procurement activities of CAPEX equipment across Vestas manufacturing sites while supporting our global Purchase Managers in complex negotiations and supplier relationship management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effective negotiation and communication skills, demonstrating fluency in English in both verbal and written forms
  • Familiar with total cost of ownership (TLC), contract drafting for project and maintenance/service frame agreements
  • Comprehensive and methodical approach focused on strategic analysis and factual evidence
  • 3-5 years of work experience within Strategic/Project Procurement
  • Relevant educational background with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing or Engineering
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office 365 (PPT, Excel & Word) and knowledge to SAP
Responsibilities
  • Manage the selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting of potential suppliers within the category, and participate in cross-functional development projects
  • Handle CAPEX projects globally across service, manufacturing and technology
  • Secure that cost reduction targets are met through cost out project skilled negotiator and skilled communication skills including fluent English skills (both orally and in writing) Familiar with total cost of ownership (TLC), contract drafting for project and maintenance/service frame agreements An effective project strategic, analytical/structured and fact-based approach
  • 3-5 years of work experience within Strategic/Project Procurement, within CAPEX project experiences Relevant educational background with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing or Engineering
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office 365 (PPT, Excel & Word) and knowledge of SAP
  • Manage Supplier relationship and performance management
  • Perform continuous stakeholder management
