EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degrees in public health or occupational health is a must.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate medical and occupational health strategy, digital health, or transformation roles is a must.
  • Experience working across Americas and European regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with global health trends, digital health platforms, and mental health systems.

SKILLS:

  • Strategic Thinking & Visioning: Ability to shape and evolve global health strategies aligned with business transformation goals.
  • Digital Health Leadership: Expertise in EMR integration, health analytics, and digital platforms for occupational and mental health.
  • Programme & Change Management: Skilled in leading complex, multi-region transformation programmes with measurable impact.
  • Mental Health Ecosystem Design: Experience integrating EAPs, digital tools, and workplace policies into a cohesive global framework.
  • Health Equity Advocacy: Ability to promote inclusive access to care and embed equity principles into global health strategy.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in developing and tracking KPIs/OKRs and using health data to inform continuous improvement.
  • Global Regulatory Fluency: Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and other health data privacy regulations across regions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across HR, SHE, Legal, and external partners to embed health into operations.
  • Innovation & Research Scouting: Ability to identify and integrate evidence-based practices and emerging health technologies.
  • Communication & Influence: Skilled in engaging senior stakeholders and representing the function in strategic councils.
  • Systems Thinking: Capacity to connect strategic initiatives across geographies, functions, and platforms for cohesive execution.
  • Organisational Agility: Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence across matrixed structures, and adapt strategy in fast-evolving business environments (especially relevant during the Ice Cream business separation).
  • Innovation Management: Ability to scout, pilot, and scale health innovations (e.g. AI diagnostics, wearable tech, predictive analytics).

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

Support the Global Head in shaping and evolving the global strategy. Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives across regions, with a focus on transformation, digital health, mental health integration, and health equity. This role will also hold regional operational responsibility for either Asia-Pacific, China, and ANZ or Americas and Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Global Head in developing and evolving the global medical and occupational health strategy.
  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives across all regions under the direction of the Global Head.
  • Design and govern the global mental health ecosystem, integrating EAP, digital tools, and workplace policies.
  • Own the digital health strategy, including EMR integration, health analytics, and outcome dashboards.
  • Promote health equity and inclusive access to care across all geographies.
  • Develop and track global KPIs and OKRs for medical and occupational health impact.
  • Facilitate employee feedback mechanisms to inform continuous improvement of health services.
  • Oversee outsourced medical and occupational health service providers in APAC, China, and ANZ, or Americas and Europe.
  • Collaborate with regional HR and SHE leads to embed medical and occupational health into local operations.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local health data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ethical standards.
  • Represent the function in specialized cross-functional councils.
  • Support innovation and evidence-based practice through partnerships and research scouting.
