The Opportunity Cochlear have an exciting position for a Global Supply Chain Supply Scheduler based in our global headquarters in Macquarie University on a permanent full-time basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure business continuity through ongoing creation and maintenance of production plans and schedules across all Cochlear sites focusing on an operational horizon of one to four weeks. Your key responsibilities will be… Assist in the creation and maintenance of production plans and schedules Maintain open line of communication with teams regarding priorities, constraints and potential shortages Development of supply planning solutions Enforcing data standards and content relating to supply chain planning Review and provide feedback on new business processes Support business in the area of supply chain analytics, setup, implementation, documentation and testing of Supply Chain Solutions and strategies Ensuring the successful nature of the S&OP and IBP processes About you Required Skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, APICS Supply Chain Management or equivalent or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a medical device environment. Demonstrated advanced application of Supply Chain Management processes Extensive exposure to Supply Chain management processes within a manufacturing environment Experience with working in a systems implementation or other project environment Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana Advance knowledge of all key Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, Power Point) Demonstrated prior experience in advanced business analytics and data interrogation techniques. Desired Skills Knowledge of process improvement techniques and/or Lean Manufacturing principles Advance knowledge of data interrogation/query design and reporting techniques.
