Global Tax is a team of specialists charged with managing the firm’s worldwide taxes. Global Tax analyzes and supports the activities, operations, reporting obligations, and transactions of the firm’s business lines to ensure that tax consequences and reputational risks are evaluated appropriately. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Professionally qualified – Lawyer or ACA/CTA
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading firm
• Strong technical UK tax knowledge
• Experience of cross-border transactions and structuring, including knowledge of tax regimes in other European jurisdictions and the USA (US experience preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence senior business stakeholders and make decisions
• Flexible and able to learn quicklyHighly motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Advising businesses in Goldman Sachs Asset Management on tax consequences related to alternative investment funds and deals
• Working with, and challenging the input from, external advisorsLiaising with other tax colleagues within the firm, particularly in the US
